previous post was telling that im leaving to brisbane for competition.
so fast for a week to past~and now im back to malaysia.
i had a enjoyable and memorable moment there with everyone in Brisbane and with Team malaysia.the weather there is freaking cold, we are freezing especially at night!
we boarded the plane on wednesday night at 9pm (m'sia local time).we reached Coolongatta airport at 7am (aus local time).the journey took about 8 hours to reach.and aussie time is 2 hours ahead than malaysia's time.when we reached there, the weather is just nice..just like we are at Genting. Tina, is the one who replaced Nerine to take care of us for the rest of the day we staying in Brisbane and Goldcoast.after checking out of the airport, we had a short briefing with Tina and then we headed to the host family..we were separated to 3 groups to 3 different host family.the 1st host family is Gloria's house, she had a nice house but is bit messy la.she even had a big trampoline at the backyard.she had 3 daughters and a son with 2 cute dogs~
4 persons will be staying in this house.which is waimin, kimswee, kheen ho and liyen.
after that we went to a shopping mall to have our lunch and get some groceries , we went back to Gloria's place to rest and sew our sponsors' badgets and malaysia flag onto the jacket.
we chilled there till 6pm then one of Gloria's daughter,Kimberly hall was back from work.and she is the 2nd host family.they will be 7 of us staying with Kim and her fiancee, Matt.
the rest will be staying with Tina but is slightly further than us and the Sleeman Sport Centre, which is where the competition held..
Kim had a lovely house and 2 friendly dogs , Lexi and Herculus.after we have situated to our room , we started to unpacked our luggages and went for a warm bathe.during winter , the duration at night is longer than the day.so it is quite dark at 6pm , just like at 10pm in malaysia.
after showering , we had ourself chilling at the living room with Lexi while Kim is making the first dinner we had in Brisbane.Kim made us Balognese , is damn delicious. aftre 8 hours flight and a whole day outing, we were so tired and we went to bed around 10pm in aus local time , which is 8pm in m'sia, damn early right?haha~anyway , when i was nearly fall asleep , mum texted me whether can i go on9 so i went out the room and asked Kim about it.kim said that the internet in her house is not working but she asked me why do i need the internet so i told her that i need to talk to my mum online and yet she lend me her blackberry to go online and chat with mum.i chat with her for like an hour and i really cant stand it , so i went to bed.somehow i cant sleep well on the first night , is freezing cold and the bed is too soft.my back hurts the next morning when i woke up.
